Day 25 Chilean Guava

Anyone out ever heard of Chilean Guava
Well I bought one yesterday at the Garden Centre and am looking forward to delicious fruit in the Autumn. Well some anyway - the plant is quite young.
This blog seems to have become more about gardening and less about jewellery
But this is my day to day life right now

Day 21

Friday of my gardening week. Got lots done, lots more to do!
My gambling afternoon was a nice break and I came home with the same money as I'd gone with (well nearly)
Today I welcome the first guests of the tourist season to Gardenrath Holiday Lodge.
So a bit of preparation to be done there like lighting a fire for instance, it promises to be a cold weekend.
Happy Paddy's Day to all

Days 15 & 16

Hi all
So how am I doing so far?
Not great would be my honest answer
On my Etsy page http://www.etsy.com/shop/SilverBeadsnPearls?ref=si_shop
I've lots of Circles and Favourites happening but It's not converting to sales
I must opt of Jewellery Design for all of next week to concentrate on my Garden - I've slipped up there a little already. I've got a lovely prolific peach tree in my glasshouse and there is a short window of opportunity for hand pollinating the blossom. I think I'm too late on some so it'll be a light crop this year me thinks!
I'm also going to check out my Vintage shop and add some of my Patchwork Quilts to it!
And a new Treasury in my Vintage shop too http://www.etsy.com/treasury/new
Talk Monday
have a real nice Spring weekend

Day 14 New Moon Last Night

What a positive Blog - Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway is a quote I often use but never put into practice.
Too late in my life for adventures of any kind - maybe not - I don't need to pick up a stranger but many times I could do with just a friend
http://www.jonathanfields.com/blog/how-to-pick-up-a-stranger-or-produce-brilliant-work/

Housework must be done today and no one else will do it!
Spring is in the air - Potatoes are in the earth - Full moon last night so I didn't sleep too good
Must do what must be done
Be well
Ann

Days 9 & 10 Sunday & Lovely Monday

Well yesterday was a lovely day out meeting some old aquaintances in the Golf Club where I used to play and Himself still does. You see it was the Drive In which is the official first day for new Captains etc.
Now to Monday - lots of housework and gardening on the agenda and I have decided to continue with my SilverBeadsnPearls theme from last week which was pink jewels.
Some detailed beadweaving taking place here and I'm enjoying mixing the different shades etc.

One of last week's pieces all boxed up and ready to go!
So more anon
.

Saturday 3 March 2012

Day 8 Saturday should be a day off?

A Vintage Ring for St Patrick's Day!

Got to get my week's work photographed and up on my Etsy shop at #SilverBeadsnPearls http://www.etsy.com/shop/SilverBeadsnPearls?ref=si_shop
Don't feel as if I worked very hard this past week in my workshop but I like the results very much!
Himself goes to Golf and I partake in a long fast walk.
Must plan a project for next week too.
Now it's raining and I'm in charge of locking up the fowl for the night!
But did you see the lovely Quiche I produced from their eggs.  We just love having them.
Must go then before its quite dark

Day 7 Wish I could go back to bed!

Yes
This morning I'm chrochety and depressed and a bit overwhelmed with all the different stuff I've got to get ahead of.
The garden is calling, Gardenrath needs some painting done on its windows and I would love to do nothing at all except Jewellery and developing SilverBeadsnPearls.
Another meeting this am in town and then we'll see.
Oh and this is my most recent Treasury from Etsy.

Day 6 and what a day?

Hi
It's 6.30 and I've just gotten down to write now.
No designing done either and no energy left to do.
Started the day off needing to bake (my mother-in-law of 96 years must have her home baking) so I do lots and freeze for ourselves also.
Then to town for an appointment which started 35 mins late (guaranteed to get my goat)
Then shopping for ourselves and mother-in-law.
So I'm tired but looking forward to crafting tomorrow

One of my favourite baking smells - Quiche Lorraine!

Talk again
